Scientific Name: Vitex agnus-castus
Chasteberry is the fruit from the chaste tree, which is native to the Mediterranean region and Asia.

Preparation:
Place one teaspoon of dried chasteberry in a cup. Pour over boiling water and let it steep for 10 minutes. After steeping, strain, add honey to taste and enjoy.
Precaution:
Not recommended for children under age two, nursing mothers and pregnant women. Women who use hormonal contraceptives, anti-psychotic drugs or Parkinson’s medicines should seek medical advice. It may also interact with drugs that affect the pituitary gland.
Storage: All dried herbs should be stored in an airtight container out of direct sunlight.
